Diabetes,
commonly known as sugar disease, is considered the most dangerous disease for
human health globally. It is also called a silent killer. When this disease
settles in a person's body, it slowly and gradually hollows it from the inside
and eats away the body like termites.
Medical
research shows that this disease can affect you from childhood or during your
youth and old age. One of the main reasons for this disease is your lifestyle,
which is called your living, lifestyle. You consistently indulge in bad eating
habits, use sugary foods without hesitation, do not exercise, and are prone to
laziness and laziness.
Medical
experts also believe that if you become a victim of extreme emotions at any
stage of your age or you are crushed under the burden of economics and you are
unable to bear this burden, due to the political and economic conditions of the
country, the burden on your heart and mind starts to increase. Your
"pancreas" stops working. A heart attack can also occur on the basis
of these reasons. If you are temporarily saved from this attack by the grace of
Allah, then the growth of sugar can also lead to blindness, kidney failure, and
depression due to being prone to suicide.
Medical
experts also identify the factors that are a risk for sugar to rise in adults.
These include obesity due to excessive use of "fast food" and
"sugar-coated" food items.
The
"National Action Plan for Diabetes" is an effort in this regard to
prevent and control non-communicable diseases in Pakistan. The aim of this
program is to maximize patient monitoring, reduce risk factors, and promote
"medical education" through awareness campaigns, and ensure the
availability of required drugs.
Communication,
linguistics, and historians seem to agree that coercion, pressure, and
confusion can increase the chances and risks of the spread of the disease.
Although education can be used as a powerful weapon, education is not the only
treatment because until the public has complete confidence in the measures
taken for treatment, management, and prevention, this campaign cannot be
successful in any way.
Experts
also advise that the media should be given the opportunity to play its role in
this awareness campaign with complete freedom. Political and social figures
should be given complete freedom of expression so that they can convey their
positive message to the audience properly. In this campaign, the severe
condemnation of a useless lifestyle should be done. It is very important to
make adults, especially the elderly, aware of the importance of adding morning
and evening exercise and balanced diet in their daily routine. The government
should also keep an eye on schools, colleges, outdoor places, especially parks
in this regard, which are shrinking due to which the minds of children are
being badly affected, the disease of sugar is eating away their body and soul
like termites. Their physical and mental activities are being limited.
Although
such changes may not be successful immediately, they will definitely be helpful
in fighting this disease in the coming years. The entire nation and all
government, government, political, and non-political institutions and their
responsible persons should make 8 February a memorable day as Sugar Free Day.
Save Pakistan from this silent killer forever, such days do not come again in
the lives of nations.
